James William Joyce passed away Feb. 15, 2014 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 85. He was born June 28, 1928 in the London, England, UK to James William and Alice Hannah (Warren) Joyce.
Bill, as he was known by his family and friends, had a strong belief in his Lord Jesus Christ, he loved his family and his four legged companion, Butchie, and he was brilliant, kind and gentle. Bill was a workaholic. He could design anything. He was very people oriented going to Bible study regularly and also asking God for forgiveness during communion at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, where he was a member. Bill was a molding engineer and has made Arizona his home for the last 21 years. Previously of Downey, Calif. where he still owns Mid West Mold.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Joyce, of Lake Havasu City; children, James Hal (Pamela) Joyce and Jeanne Carol Joyce, both of Boise, Idaho; sister, Kathleen Sykes, of Australia; grandchildren, James William (Kellie) Joyce, Sean Ian Joyce, Aaron Hendrick Joyce and Justin Cory Cate; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ann Joyce and McKenna Elisabeth Joyce; step-son, Bryon (Diane) Kelley and step-daughter, Robin Kelley. He is preceded in death by his first wife Barbara Ann Joyce, in 1988.
Services will be at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. with Deacons Dennis Foremming and Jo Tinsley officiating.
