Raymond "Butchie" Michael Stackpoole passed away in his sleep on Feb. 14, 2014, at his home in Kingman.
Ray was born in Kingman on April 4, 1947, to Keith and Marcheta Stackpoole.
He attended St. Mary's Catholic School through eighth grade. He graduated from Mohave County Union High School in 1965. Ray worked with drywall in construction for most of his life in the Kingman area.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dee; grandparents, Ray and Viola Peterson; his paternal grandparents; his father, Keith Stackpoole; mother, Marcheta Oneill; and sister, Katherine Grommon.
He is survived by his partner, Debra Boren, and her son, Joseph (Rocky); his daughter, Shannon Rhinehart; sister, Colleen Pethers; grandchildren, Britini, Brandon and Dodge; brother, Steve Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
Ray was always happy end enjoyed life. He was kind and generous and had faith in the Lord. He suffered greatly the last few years, but is finally at peace and out of pain.
There will be a celebration of life for friends and family at the Sportsman Club in downtown Kingman at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22. All are welcome to come.
