The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, AZ., July 6 to July 7, 2005 James Lee McBride, 89 passed away Monday July 4, 2005 in Litchfield, AZ. He was born June 3, 1916 to Mary Elizabeth Lines & William Edward McBride in Pima, AZ. He was 1 of 10 children. Jim was a lifelong farmer/rancher. He met & married Charlcey Sudekum in 1939 at the Mesa Temple. In 1952, Jim & his wife moved to Phoenix where he purchased and operated a farm. Jim served as Bishop of the Tolleson Ward for 15 years and was a Stake Patriarch. He was preceded in death by his daughter Virginia Sue Fletcher (Homer Jr.) He is survived by his wife Charlcey, children James Lee McBride Jr. (Floradean), Glenn William McBride (Cheryl), Lynette Hays (Larry), sister Edna Leavitt, 14 grandchildren & 36 great-grandchildren . Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7th from 9-10:30 AM, funeral service at 10:30 AM at the Latter Day Saints Tolleson Ward 701 N. 95th Ave. Arrangements entrusted to Greenwood Mortuary..
