The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, February 21, 2014 Laurel King went to be with the Lord on Feb. 18, 2014. Laurel was born on April 6, 1946, in Chicago, Ill. She was the daughter of Dorothy and Ray Hulett. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Hulett, and her four children, Keith Morse his wife Jennifer and children Alexandria, Victoria, Ethan and Austin; Alison Morse; Sara and Frank Cervantes; and Brendan Morse; and her brother David Yandell. Laurel was a microbiologist, an educator, and a member of Mensa, and her children often referred to her as "Encyclopedia Mom." She was a member of the Master Chorale and helped any person or animal who came across her path with a selfless and generous heart. She was a beloved mother, daughter and sister who loved the Lord, her children and her garden, and will be missed dearly. Her favorite bible verse was Zephaniah 3:17, "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Her service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at The Canyon Bible Church in Prescott Valley, Ariz.
