TRUFFA, Barry Joseph

Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Barry Joseph Truffa (October 26, 1939 - February 15, 2014) Barry J. Truffa, age 72, of Flagstaff, Arizona, passed away at the Olivia White Hospice Home on Saturday 15, 2014. He was born in Hyde Park, Pennslvania on October 26, 1939 to John Philip Truffa and Cecelia Theresa Sabinis. Barry enjoyed playing football, once played in the Rose Bowl, and was a die-hard Steelers fan. He loved to dance, was an avid hunter, and cherished a good time. He worked as a manager for Sperry Flight Systems later to become General Dynamics for 37 years and retired in 2000. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lois Farland Truffa, three children, Bruce Foster, Sally Prato, and Carol Watters, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. The family will hold a memorial gathering at a time to be announced, and it is their wish that in lieu of flowers, gifts or cards, a donation be made to Olivia White Hospice Home, 752 N. Switzer Canyon Drive, Flagstaff, AZ 86001
