Beatrice Thelma Snyder (Beazzie), as she liked to be called, passed away on Thursda,y February 20, 2014.
She was born on December 11, 1927 in Passaic, New Jersey, daughter of Anton and Tenie Snyder.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Johanna Glennon, Bertha Smith, and brother Leonard Snyder.
She has several nephews and nieces. Frank Glennon, Patrick Glennon, Jack Smith, Denise Woodruff, Sandra Skow and Judy Stout, all from New Jersey.
Bea joined the Army as a Medical Technician from 1948 - 1950. Bea came to Arizona in the 50's and went to work for Motorola.
Upon retirement from Motorola she bought her 5th wheel and pickup and joined Thousand Trails and traveled with the singles all over the United States.
She was a volunteer with Thousand Trails, the Cancer Society, as well as a volunteer for Verde Valley Medical Center.
Bea was an avid lover of animals, especially dogs and cats. She sat for many animals in the Verde Valley while people went on vacation.
She moved into the Verde Valley Manor in July 2006 and quickly volunteered to help with them.
She was a resident there until November 2012, at which time she had to go into an Assisted Living Facility.
Services will be held in New Jersey. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
