Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Thursday, February 27, 2014 Celebration of Life Martha M. Leviticus, daughter of James H. Mee and Ruthie R. Mee, graced the world with her being on August 4, 1948 in Odessa, TX. Although she passed in body on February 13,2014; her spirit will forever by alive. She was surrounded by her children at home in Flagstaff. Martha went on an adventure in her 20s to primarily be an English teacher but througout her 20 years in the islands, she wore many other hats in the school district. During the 20 years, she married and had 5 children. In 1994, with 5 children ranging from 6yrs-13yrs of age; she and her children moved to Flagstaff. She got a teaching job with the FUSD and quickly proved to everyone the true meaning of hard work with her positivity and joyful personality. Martha is survived by a loving family which includes her 4 daughters: Bali Leviticus-Sabino and husband Josh and their two daughters: Meilani and Kekoa, Sichi Leviticus-Smith and her husband Brandon, Genesdy Leviticus, Laceia Leviticus, Martha's son Japhet Leviticus and his daughter Coral Leviticus. Her sister Molly H. Burleigh and her husband Gordon, Martha's brothers: Michael Mee and his wife Peggy and youngest brother Gus Mee and his wife Peggy. Also by all of her "adopted" children that called her mom and Bubu (Marshallese for grandmother) and the many friends she has made along the way. Celebration of life will be held at the Double Tree Hilton (formerly known as the Radisson) at 1175 W.
