Janice Marie Flynn died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at her home near Concho. She was born in August 1947 at Greensboro, Ga., where she finished her secondary education.

Janice then attended a business and modeling school in Virginia and worked in sales most of her life. Janice loved the outdoors and was an accomplished amateur artist. She married James D. Flynn in 2005.

Besides her husband, James, Janice is survived by her mother, Abbie Scoggins; close aunt Helen Wright of Blairsville, Ga.; and five children: Robert Troutman of Tampa, Fla., Stewart Troutman of Nashville, Tenn., Holly Troutman of Paris, France, Allison Troutman of Washington, D.C., and Chris Troutman of Virginia Beach.

Interment will be in the family plot in Greensboro, Ga. Local memorial services were held Thursday, Feb. 28, near Concho.
