Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona, Territory Wednesday, March 9, 1899, page 3, col. 1 (From Thursday's Daily) Stephen Hale, who was injured on Sunday on the Lynx creek road, while trying to couple two freight wagons, died this evening from his injuries. Hale, who was fatally injured on Sunday, took place this afternoon from the family residence on Alarcon street.
