Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Tuesday, March 04, 2014 Domingo Ruben Candelaria died on January 19, 2014 at 6 a.m. Domingo was born on Feb 2, 1951 in St. Johns, Ariz. to Domingo Jaramillo Candelaria and Thelma Mildred Zamora. He was preceded in death by Domingo Candelaria (father), Avery Ochoa (brother), Ruben Negron (nephew), Priscilla Flores (sister), and Quintin Ochoa (step-father). He leaves behind his mother, Thelma Ochoa; his children, Domingo J. Candelaria, Clarissa Candelaria, Adrianna Candelaria (Dave) and Daniel Candelaria; as well as four grandchildren and his brothers, Frank Candelaria (Katrina), and Alan Ochoa (Ally); and his sisters, Fela Music (Doug), Virginia Powell (Chuck), Carla Gahm, and Yvonne Davis (Marvin). Domingo was a loving father devoted to his four children and grandchildren. He was a wonderful brother and son. He enjoyed photography, politics and the outdoors. He traveled throughout the United States in his R.V with his companion Amalia Madrid, tasting new foods and seeing wonderful places. Domingo lived in Duddleyville and Tucson, Ariz. His last years of life he lived in Globe, Ariz. He retired from Asarco Mining Company, where he worked in the Oxygen Plant. We will miss your long talks, your gentle demeanor, your quiet ways and your beautiful dimpled smile.
