OWENS, Nancy Jean

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, March 05, 2014 Nancy Jean Owens passed away Jan. 29 at the age of 74. She was born Aug. 30, 1939 in Scranton, Pa., daughter of Esther Fey Owens and the late Edward Owens. A graduate of Temple University School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Pa., her career spanned over 50 years. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and for the last 14 years prior to her retirement she worked at Remuda Ranch in Wickenburg. Nancy was an accomplished and dedicated nurse with an achievement record too numerous to mention. She is survived by her brother Ronald Owens and wife Carol; sister Barbara O’Hara and husband Edward; and best friend of 40 years Jessie Falconer of Wickenburg. Nancy will be missed by all who loved her. A memorial service led by Rod Hackett will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday (March 9) at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Wickenburg. David’s Desert Chapel in Wickenburg is handling the arrangements.
