Meldrum Mortuary & Crematory, Mesa, Arizona Harold Owen Bigelow March 15, 1929 ~ March 1, 2014 Lt. Col Harold Owen Bigelow, USMC retired, 84, of Fountain Hills, AZ passed away 3-1-2014. An Arizona native, Harold was born to Owen and Lucie Bigelow in Eagar, AZ. He attended college at NAU, earned a BA in Education from ASU and a Master's in Ed. from U of A. He was a Korean War and Atomic Veteran, and taught in Quantico, VA. He married Erma Ruth Evans and raised a family in Tucson. Harold served a Family History Mission in Salt Lake City, UT. A wonderful son, brother, uncle, husband, and father, he is survived by his wife, Erma, 3 children: Adrienne Larsen (Stewart), Janet Fezzey, Jonathan Bigelow, 9 grandchildren: Miles Larsen (Kaelyn), Colby Larsen, Jessica Allen (Chase), Courtney Larsen, Krystal Mann, Liesl Fezzey, Amber Cooper(Mike), Katheryn Hoyt ( Derrick/deceased), Hailey Fezzey and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 10th 10:00 A.M. L.D.S. Church 15507 E. Bainbridge Ave., Fountain Hills, AZ. Military honors to follow at National Veteran's Cemetery at 12:30 P.M. 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Heartfelt thanks to Hospice of the Valley for their care.
