Donald Clark Youngling, 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Lake Havasu City, March 4, 2014. He was born Oct. 29, 1938 in Jersey City, N.J. to Clark and Lillian Youngling.
Don served in the US Navy, then went on to become a production manager in the semi-conductor business until his retirement in 2000. He married his wife, Vera (Brightly), in 1961 and they resided in New Jersey, California and in Lake Havasu City for the last 14 years.
Don stayed busy in his retirement, helping his daughter Brenda's business with Oroweat. Don loved his family and spent countless hours assisting with their swim and football teams. A huge New York Giants fan, he shared his enthusiasm with his family and friends. Boating on the lake was a favorite activity.
Don leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Vera of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Brenda (Ted); sons, Brett and Shawn; sisters, Marilyn and Sally (Pat) and his faithful dogs, Maggie and Kadie.
Don requested a celebration of life take place at a later date.
