Lois Eileen Catlett, age 98, passed away in Lake Havasu City, March 7, 2014. She was born in Chambers, Neb. to John and Luella Mae (Fluckey) Kellar, June 4, 1915. After graduating from Chambers High School, she attended Hastings College, in Hastings, Neb. She married Wayne Catlett, the Chambers High School Superintendent in 1936. They moved to Whittier, Calif. in 1943 where they both worked for Sears Roebuck, retiring from there. Lois enjoyed doing genealogy and was active in the societies in Whittier and later in Lake Havasu City. Lois moved to Lake Havasu City in 2008 to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She enjoyed traveling with them in their RV during the summers, going to church and crocheting.
Lois was pre-deceased by her husband in 1989. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon and son-in-law, Chuck Kossieck; grandchildren, Melinda (Keith) Lujan and Jeff (Tammy) Kossieck of Las Vegas, Nev.; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Preston Lujan, Ronnie DeLarco, Ryan Scheerer, Amber (Dallas) McDowell; two great-great grandchildren, Grant and Mackenzie and a nephew, John B. (Pat) Kellar of Michigan and Arizona.
Burial services will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park in California, March 14, and a memorial service will be at Lake Havasu Baptist Church at a later date.
