ESPINOZA, Olga Jean Olga Jean Espinoza, of Chandler, died Monday, June 16, in Phoenix. She was 63. Born in Phoenix, Olga was a life-long resident of Arizona, and with her husband, she owned and operated the successful Espinoza's Market in west Chandler for many years. With Olga's traditional and authentic Mexican recipes, this business later expanded into a popular East Valley eatery, Espo's. She is survived by her husband, David Cruz Espinoza, Sr.; her mother, Nellie Lara; two daughters, Cindy Maultrop and Gayle Espinoza (Wayne Hudgeons); three sons, David Cruz Espinoza, Jr., Larry Espinoza (Klarrisa), and Leon Espinoza; and eight grandchildren. She is also survived by seven sisters and four brothers. Funeral services were at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston, Chandler. Visitation was at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler. A luncheon / reception for family and friends followed the funeral services on Friday at the Chandler Kights of Columbus Hall. Published in the Arizona Republic on 6/19/2003.
