URENA, Richard (Speedy)

URENA, Richard "Speedy" Richard "Speedy" Urena, 55, of Glendale, AZ passed away April 3, 2005. He was born of April 3, 1950 in Tempe, AZ. Richard was a graduate from Phoenix Union High School and employed by Arizona Public Service and Southwest Gas for many years. Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing, he lived for his wife, children, grandchildren and Harleys. He is survived by his wife; Flora, daughters; Jennifer Urena, Tanya Urena, and Valerie (Felipe) Cano, his Mom and Dad, two sisters, one brother, and grandchildren; Aaron, Phillip, and Brianna. Visitation with Rosary was at A. L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road. Funeral service also was held at the Bethany Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association, 4343 E. Camelback Rd., Suite 450, Phoenix, 85018. Published in The Arizona Republic on 4/7/2005.
