Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Rita Antonio Johnson (March 13, 1942 - March 17, 2014) Rita Antonio Johnson was surrounded by her loved ones as she went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2014 in Tempe Arizona. She was born on March 13, 1942 to the late Douglas and Edith (Declay) Antonio and grew up in Whiteriver,AZ. Rita was an Alchesay High School graduate, she was a seamstress and loved to sew dresses, make quilts, loved to read and do word search and cross word puzzles, she loved cats and kittens. She served the Lord all her life. Her favorite color was purple. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Reno Johnson Sr., 4 children: Reno (Rebecca) Johnson Jr., Roger (Kathy) Johnson, Ricky (Heather) Johnson, Renita (Berlyn) Parrish, 15 Grand Children, 7 Great Grand Children, 7 God Children, 6 Sisters: Ruby Kinney, Antoinette Antonio, Myrna Antonio, Beatrice Joe, Neva Cosen and Dorothy Walker, 5 Brothers: Bruce Antonio, Raymond Antonio, Dewey Cromwell, Tennyson Cromwell and Ramsey Cromwell. Rita is preceded in death by Father: Douglas Antonio, Mother: Edith D. Antonio, 2 brothers, 1 daughter: Baby Johnson, Grand Children: Robert D (Benson) Johnson, Rafeal (Poncho) Johnson, Robyn Johnson, Rochelle Johnson, Kenneth Kinney, Eric Kinney, Douglas Joe Antonio, Martinez Antonio, Marcie Antonio, Lloyd Antonio, Floyd Antonio and Jetton Beatty. A two night wake will begin on Thursday March 27, 2014 at 10:00 AM at 410 S. Middle St. in Canyon Day, Arizona. Funeral Services will be on Saturday March 29, 2014 at 10:00 at Canyon Day Miracle Church.
