Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Esther Mae Thompson December 02, 1931 - March 20, 2014 Funeral services for Esther Mae Thompson, 82, will be held at 10:00 AM (MST) Monday, March 24, 2014 at Greer’s Mortuary Chapel, Winslow, AZ. Viewing will be held after the service. Interment will follow in Desert View Cemetery, Winslow, AZ. Esther Mae Thompson passed away on March 20, 2014 in Winslow, AZ. She was born on December 2, 1931 to Joe & Bessie Julian in Pueblo Pintado, NM. She was of the Salt Clan born for the Naakai Dine é. Esther was a loving mother, always worked to support her family. She also helped raise her grandchildren. She liked to read a lot, do word search, play solitaire and crochet. Esther is survived by her children, Thomas Thompson, Jr. of Leupp, AZ, Loretta “Dixie” Thompson of Leupp, AZ., Arnold Joe Thompson of Tolani Lake, AZ. and Tina Todacheenie of Winslow, AZ.; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Thompson, Sr.; daughter, Verna “Pinky” Thompson.
