LINDSEY, James Carold (Jim)


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, March 26, 2014 - James Carold Lindsey was called home to be with his Lord, March 16, 2014 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. at the age of 80. He was born in Caddo, Okla. to Preston Lindsey and Louise (Green). Jim as he was known by his family and friends, belonged to the Lions, Sidewinders 4 Wheel Drive Club and he was a retired Poultry Distributer. Visitation will be at 6 p.m., with a Rosary to follow at 7:30 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in the Chapel, March 28, with Deacon Jeff Arner. A Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, March 29, at 11 a.m. with Father Chauncey Winkler offering words of comfort. He will be laid to rest at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Jim is survived by his wife of seven years, Carol Lindsey of Lake Havasu City; sons, Gary (Patty) Lindsey of Tempe, Bobby (Michelle) Lindsey of Lake Havasu City, Jimmy (Kim) Lindsey Jr. and George (Tricia) Lindsey both of Phoenix; daughters, Deanna (Ron) Gray of Chandler, and Linda (Ross) Highland of Phoenix; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Harold Lindsey and his wife Joan Lindsey.
