Robert L. Smith, 79, of Kingman, Ariz., born Jan. 16, 1935, in Prescott, Ariz., passed away March 25, 2014.

Robert died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Northern Arizona V.A. Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona. He was born January 16, 1935 in Prescott, Arizona; the son of Melvin and Fay (Bateman) Smith. Robert was 79 years old.
He served in the United States Army and transferred into the Army Reserves (Graves Registration Specialist). During his service is was awarded the National Defense Service medal, the Korean Service medal, and teh United Nations Service medal.
Robert enjoyed walking, staying fit so he could chase pretty women, and dancing. He loved to go out and dance the night away. Robert was also very proud of the fact that he never got a speeding ticket, he always drove the speed limit; and also of his perfect work attendence without taking a day off sick.
Robert is survived by his son Michael (Paula) Smith of Searchlight, NV, his daughter Michele (Tom) Rejzek of Santa Barbara, CA, his sister Lillie (Ralph) Canfield of Kingman, AZ, nephews; Ralph Canfield Jr., Chris Canfield and also several great nehews and nieces.
