Gale April 20, 1930 - March 27, 2014 Noralea Gale, of Thatcher, entered into eternal life Thursday morning, March 27, 2014, at her residence, with her children and grandchildren gathered by her bedside. She was 83. Noralea is survived by: her two sons, Gary L. Gale (Christine) and Larry L. Gale (Kay); her daughter, Pamela Kay Pollock (James); her ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services for Noralea will be conducted Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., at the Vining Funeral Home's "Chapel of the Valley." Concluding services will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening, April 1, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Wednesday morning, April 2, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., at the Vining Funeral Home. Gale April 20, 1930 - March 27, 2014 Noralea H. Gale, age 83, of Thatcher, entered into eternal life Thursday, March 27, 2014, at her residence, with her family gathered by her bedside. Noralea was born on April 20, 1930, in Klondyke, Arizona, on the family ranch, to Merrel and Margarete Duffy Haby. She was born 15 minutes before her twin sister, Lauralea. Noralea attended school in Klondyke, Safford, Globe and Duncan, graduating from Duncan High School in 1947. She attended college at Arizona State University, graduating in 1950, with a B. A. in Education. Noralea married Robert Gale on May 24, 1950, and moved with him to Morenci, Arizona. Noralea and Robert were blessed with four children; Gary, Larry, Terry and Pamela. She began her 41 year teaching career at Morenci in the fall of 1950. She taught grade school for the first few years, then moved to the high school, becoming the girls PE teacher, cheerleading coach, volleyball coach and tennis coach. She went on to receive her Master’s Degree at Western New Mexico University. She loved sports whether participating or watching. She hardly ever missed an event that involved Morenci High School. Noralea was preceded in death by: her parents; her beloved husband, Robert; and infant son, Terry. Noralea is survived by: her two sons, Gary L. Gale (Christine) and Larry L. Gale (Kay); her daughter, Pamela Kay Pollock (James); her 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and her twin sister, Lauralea Bott, whom she lived with for the past several years. Funeral services for Noralea will be conducted Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., at the Vining Funeral Home's "Chapel of the Valley," by Pastor Brad Boyd. Concluding services will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.
