Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Theodore Childs (September 26, 1939 - March 28, 2014) Theodore Childs Sr., 74, went to be with the Lord, March 28, 2014, in Mesa, Arizona. Theodore was born September 26, 1939, to parents Francis and Marian Childs. For many years he liked to work on his own vehicles and fix them. He was also a heavy equipment operator, working for the lumber mills and tribal forestry. He loved having his kids and grandkids around. He liked to listen to gospel music and read his bible, which he continued to do even after reading it through a couple of times. Theodore is survived by his wife Loretta Childs; sons Elton Childs and Theodore Childs Jr.; daughters Pearlita Haven and Evangeline Childs; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many friends and relatives. A wake will be held Saturday, April 5th, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at his home, 5 North Electric Dr. Cibecue. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cottonwood Gym in Cibecue. Interment will take place at Sunny Side Cemetery in Cibecue.
