(Maiden Name: Ragonetti)

Our beloved Flora Leradi, at 95 years of age, passed into eternal life peacefully in her Arizona home on Wednesday, March 26 after being on dialysis for six years.
Flora was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on April 2, 1918 to Mary Morra and Louis Ragonetti. She was the seventh of 13 children, growing up in a happy and complicated Italian family.
Flora was a simple and gracious lady, and she will be remembered for her strong Catholic faith and playful sense of humor.
Twelve years ago, Flora moved from Brooklyn to Wickenburg with John Randazzo, her partner of 36 years, who predeceased her. The Randazzos welcomed Flora not only into their home but also into their hearts.
Flora will always be fondly remembered; how she loved a good laugh right up to our parting; and that last beautiful week of her life that she and her Arizona family shared with her loving New York niece and godchild MaryAnn Gomes.
Flora’s New York family would like to express sincere thanks and gratitude to the caring and loving Randazzo family (especially Rowena for Flora’s exceptional personal care); Biagio for driving Flora to and from dialysis; her honorary grandchildren Lucy and Danielle; Dr. Sharma; her dialysis team (especially Carolyn); and the Wickenburg hospice team. Thanks to each of you for the devoted care you provided to Flora during the last years, months and hours of her life.
We give Flora our love and laughter; she will live in our hearts forever. One day we’ll all have a grand reunion in the Lord’s house.
