April 3, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 AM. Father Jeffrey King , Celebrant. Interment to follow in Desert View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 PM Wed., April 2, 2014 at Greer’s Mortuary. Elma Sanchez passed away on March 30, 2014 in Winslow, AZ. She was born on February 3, 1928 in Winslow, AZ. Elma’s hobbies were playing cards, bingo and spending time with family and friends. She adored her grandchildren. She was the Best mother and loved to cook. She is survived by her children, Raymond (Josie) Sanchez, Veya Bardsley, Mike (Jane) Sanchez, Irene (Ron) Doud, Gina (John) Ackerman, Donna Guerrero and Johnny Sanchez, Jr. all of Winslow; 35 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Soteno & Ramona Garcia; husband, Johnny A. Sanchez; daughter, Linda Baca; 1 sister, 3 brothers, 2 grandsons & 2 great-grandchildren.
