Copper Country News, Globe, AZ Wednesday, April 02, 2014 Violet B. Starling, 98 born in Lubbock, Texas. on May 30, 1915, passed away March 23, 2014 in Globe, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Starling; and daughters, Leonore Dillon, and Tommie Cowan. Violet is survived by sister, June Campeas (Albert) of Payson, son in law, Doyle Cowan, of Miami, Ariz.; grandchildren, Randy Moore, Rebecca Workman, Danny Dillon and Arlo Dillon of Phoenix, and Cheryl Cowan of Miami; five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Violet enjoyed being a homemaker, sewing, crocheting, traveling, hunting, fishing and camping with family. Most of all she loved Jesus. A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Globe Cemetery in Globe, Ariz.
