The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, April 10, 2014 William Kurtzman, 89, of Dewey, Ariz., passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014. He was born March 3, 1925, in Hamburg, N.Y. to Ada and William Kurtzman. He was married to his beloved wife Ruth of 68 years who preceded him in death on March 21, 2014. William is survived by son Chad Kurtzman and wife Diane; daughter Laura Shelton and husband Arnold; and adopted daughter Tina Shelton. He has three granddaughters, Tracy Moseke, Kristen Camaret and Dawn Mangum; and six great grandchildren, Garrett, Merileigh, Elan, Anya, Marin and Micah. William and Ruth moved to Phoenix, Ariz. in 1946 then to Dewey in 1984. He and Ruth were baptized Jehovah's Witnesses on Dec. 22, 1956 in Phoenix, Ariz. He was greatly loved and memories will be cherished. Private funeral services will be on Friday, April 11, 2014. Sunrise Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.
