FAIRCHILD, Helene

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 16, 2008, p. A5 Helene Brock Fairchild of Wickenburg, was called to Heaven on Jan. 7. She was born April 17, 1930 in Atlanta, Ga. Helene was a longtime resident of the Gulfport, Miss., and graduated from Gulfport High class of 1948, where she met and married her life-long partner Milton Fairchild. In 1980 they moved to Las Vegas, Nev., where she worked as a legal secretary for many years for the law offices of Schreck and Jones. Helene was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister - she will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Helene is preceded in death by her father Enos Brock, her mother Estelle Brock and son Ray Fairchild. She is survived by her husband Milton Fairchild of Wickenburg; sister Nancy Reyes of Vail, Ariz.; son and daughter-in-law Cliff and Marianne Fairchild of Chandler, Ariz.; daughter Nancy Love Matheny of La Habra, Calif.; grandchildren Joshua Hamner of St. Joesph Mo., Mallory Matheny of La Mesa, Calif., and Annie and Aaron Fairchild of Chandler; and one great grandchild Isaac Hamner of D’Iberville Miss. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date in Nevada.
