WOLTER, Anne

Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Anne Genack Wolter May 20, 1937 - July 13, 2011 Anne was born in 1937 in Fort Wayne, IN. She passed peacefully on July 13, 2011 in Tucson, AZ. She moved with her parents from Fort Wayne to Milwaukee, WI at about age 3. Anne met the love of her life, Jim in High School and they were married in 1958. They lived in the Milwaukee area until they both retired in 1997. They moved to SaddleBrooke in 1998. Anne graduated from Milwaukee Downer College, currently know as Lawrence University. She then attended University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and earned a Masters Degree in Library Science. Anne accepted a position with a small but rapidly growing elementary school just outside of Milwaukee as the school's very first Librarian. She was successful in the development of the library to a sizeable media center. In addition, she also taught in the Library Science School of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. We all love her very much and hope to meet again to spend eternity with her. The Family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care and comfort provided to Anne by Ruth and the staff of Hilltop Haven Assisted Living in Catalina.
