Vincent Richard D'Apuzzo, 90, of Prescott, Arizona died April 13, 2014 in Prescott. He was born February 10, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY to Ferdinand "Fred" & Marietta "Mary" (Cacase) D'Apuzzo.
He is survived by his daughter Debbie D'Apuzzo Wahl of Sun City, AZ, and his grandchildren Christopher and Nicole. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean; his brothers Nicholas, George, and Fred; and his sisters Emily Truswell and Ann D'Apuzzo.
Vincent was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Marine Corps League - Copper State Detachment. He enjoyed his family, telling jokes, helping people, fishing, serving in World War II, and numerous wonderful friends. He was proudest of his family and his service to our country in the United States Marine Corps.

Vincent R. D'Apuzzo, an amazing, funny, generous man born Feb. 10, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y., passed away in Prescott, Ariz., on April 13, 2014, reaching his goal to be 90 years young.
He had so many accomplishments and friends and loved to joke and make people laugh. Vince was proud to have served in the Marine Corps in WWII 1943-1946. He retired from Land Dept. at SRP in 1984 after 35-plus years of service.
He is predeceased by his wife of 50-plus years, Betty (Walker); his parents, Ferdinand and Marietta; and five siblings. Vince will be hugely missed by his daughter Debbie Wahl; grandchildren Chris and Nicole; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will take place 7 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott. A Memorial Mass will take place at Sacred Heart on Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m., with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Maggie's Hospice or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
