WILLIAMS, Beverly Ailene

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, April 16, 2014 - Beverly Ailene (Smith) Williams passed away April 3, 2104 at Kolob Care in Cedar City, Utah. Beverly was born April 30, 1921 in Downey, Calif. to Howard and Mable (Pooler) Smith. She married Lewis Weldon Williams, Jan. 18, 1941. They had two children, Marlene and Beverly. Beverly grew up in Downey, Calif., was a licensed cosmetologist and raised her family in Downey. She and her husband later moved to San Jacinto, Calif. Beverly spent the last 10 years of her life, living near her daughters in Lake Havasu City and Cedar City. She loved spending time with her family, a good bargain (yard sales) and dollar slots. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and a great-grandson. She is survived by her daughters, Marlene (Bevan) Leigh, Beverly (Richard) Hallett; five grandchildren, Jimmy (Lori) Culbertson, Deborah Hallett (Mikel) Borg, Shawnah (Mark) Maitoza, Carrie Hallett (Carl) Riebow and Shelby (Rob) Fisher; 11 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Audrey Morris. A celebration of her life took place April 6 and graveside services April 7. She was laid to rest at Cedar City Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to swindlehurstfuneralhome.com
