Mary Larenda Erickson, 52, died April 11, 2014, at her residence in Springerville. She was born Feb. 4, 1962, in Coos Bay, Ore., the daughter of William Duane and Samantha Anne Gheer Pierson.
Mary was a homemaker. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. Family was most important to her. She had a very open heart and a happy outlook on life. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and dear friends.
Mary is survived by her husband, David Richard Erickson Sr.; sons: Chris Thomson of Phoenix; David Richard Erickson Jr. of Eagar; Derrick Scott Erickson of Mesa; Dakota Ryan Erickson of Williston, N.D.; daughters: Shalene Larenda Thomson of Phoenix, Jessica Erickson of Show Low, Destiny Erickson of Eagar and Haley Erickson of Eagar; stepdaughter Natasha Jones of Maryland; brother Bill Pierson; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a granddaughter.
A memorial service was held April 15 at the Assembly of God Church in Springerville.
