William Michael ‘Bo’ Mike Bohannon, 59, resident of Lakeside, died April 6, 2014, at the Portland VA Medical Center in Portland, Ore. He was born June 6, 1954, in Mesa.

Mike served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1972-75.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Bohannon of Gilbert; daughters: Keely Hjerleid-Bohannon (Andy Huber) of Astoria, Ore.; Chenin Sullivant (Yousof Bahraini) of Westminster, Colo.; Kim Cahill (Ed) of Gilbert; sons: Robert McNeil, Scott McNeil, both of Gilbert; brother Leonard Bohannon of Gilbert; ex-wife and good friend Juliene Bohannon of Gilbert; and nine grandchildren: Brandt, Jarren and Kyle McNeil, Megan and Nathan Cahill, Isabella Bahraini, Kanon Hernandez, and Emmy and Tayla Huber.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cortez Bohannon

A memorial service to celebrate Mike’s life will be held from 12-5 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the VFW, 65 S. McDonald in Mesa. Please feel free to bring a dish or dessert to share. Drinks will be provided.
