TOMLINSON, Velia

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, April 18, 2014 Velia Tomlinson fell asleep in death on Sunday, April 13, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Italy on Nov. 16, 1917. Her husband William Tomlinson Sr. preceded her in death in 1986. She is survived by Christina (Sydney) Raymond, William (Jeannie) Tomlinson Jr. of Prescott Valley and Renee (Tom) Olsen of Clearwater, Idaho, as well as eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Velia was an avid reader and loved growing flowers. Her greatest love, however, was sharing the good news of God's Kingdom and her Bible-based hope as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. April 26, 2014, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6933 Horizon Lane, Prescott Valley, Ariz. Information provided by survivors.
