Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Russell Mockta June 01, 1939 - April 09, 2014 Graveside Service for Russell Mockta, Jr., 74, will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Desert View Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11:30 to 12:30 at Greer’s Mortuary Chapel. Russell was born in Keams Canyon, AZ on June 1, 1939 and entered into rest on April 9, 2014 in Flagstaff, AZ. He was a treasurer for the Hopi Tribe, retired. Served 2 years in US Army and 1 year in the Air Force. He is survived by his wife Ethelene Mockta, mother Mayfa Kewanimptewa; daughters, Angela Shupla, Crystal Puhuyesva; brothers, Davis Kewanimptewa, Gregory Mockta; sister Nancy Yaiva; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
