He was born April 14, 1932 in Glendale, Ariz., and had lived in Arizona his entire life. He had been a carpenter most of his life and greenskeeper for the Bagdad Mesa View Golf Course for five years. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Shirley; children Penny Carroll (Jax), Carrie Wallace (Bruce), Leigh Donahue, Tyler Donahue (Vickie) and Angie Gunderson (Jeff); seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren (and one on the way).
