Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, December 20, 1916, page 4, col. 2 Pioneer Arizonan Pneumonia Victim (From Friday's Daily) Henry Clay, one of the best know of Yavapai pioneers, passed away at Humboldt, yesterday morning, from pneumonia, after an illness of only a few days. He was a farmer of Agua Fria valley for many years, industrious and an excellent citizen. He had been a resident of this section since early in the '70s, and was aged about 65 years. The body was brought to Ruffner's yesterday afternoon and burial will be given in this city later, under the auspices of the Odd Fellows, of which order he had been a member for many years.
