The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/25/2014 David Franklin Dean, 66, died Friday, April 18, 2014, at his home in Springerville. He was born April 1, 1948, in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., the son of Porter Franklin and Hazel Gertrude Rider Dean. David was a drafter, home designer and ironworker. He had an insatiable curiosity and loved learning something new. He was never bored. He is survived by his wife, Kerry Joy Dean of Springerville; sons: Aaron of Redmond, Wash., Garrett of Provo, Utah, and Porter of Springerville; daughters: Shila Ingram of Evans, Ga., Bethany Thompson of Mesa; brother Porter Forrest Dean and 14 grandchildren.
