NELSON, Linda Mae

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, April 27, 2014 - Linda Mae Nelson, 59, passed away after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis, March 27, 2014 at Havasu Nursing Center with loving family by her side. Linda was born May 11, 1954 in Chicago to Leo and Mae Nelson. Linda moved to Lake Havasu City in August of 1989. She worked at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Housekeeping and Central Sterile until 2000. Linda leaves behind her two children, Nicole Trott and Kevin Cherco, both of Lake Havasu City; four grandchildren, Emily and Zachary Trott and Camron and Tristan Cherco; two sisters, Donna Nelson and Karen Yamron of Lake Havasu City and an abundance of nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Mae Bracken and niece, Ashley Cherco. A special thank you to Havasu Nursing Center and all of its caring staff who took care of Linda for the past nine years. You were her second family. A celebration of Linda’s life will be Saturday, May 17, 1 p.m. at the VFW Post 9401 in Lake Havasu City. All who knew her are welcome.
