The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, April 27, 2014 Leah Meyers Aug. 15, 1918 - April 23, 2014 Leah Meyers, beloved mother, mentor and spiritual leader of her church family, slipped away Wednesday, April 23, 2014, into the hands of the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Kenneth V. Meyers. Born in Colorado, they raised their family in various mining communities in Colorado and Arizona before happily retiring to the Verde Valley. She is survived by her five children, Ken, Joyce (Charles), Judy, Val and Paul (Noreen); 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Camp Verde Community Church, 480 First Street, Camp Verde, Ariz. Private interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
