Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Joan Brown 10/15/1931 - 04/16/2014 Joan Elizabeth Brown of Tucson, AZ passed away April 16, 2014. She was born October 15, 1931 in Detroit, MI. Joan loved her family and dear friends. She is survived by her cherished husband of 42 years Milton "Bud"; her dearest sisters Frances Silvers and Marian Little; her beloved son William Hall; loving daughters Elaine Stuckey, Catherine Hall, Mary Moore, and Karen Havens; 13 cherished grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her dearly loved step children and grandchildren. Joan's first marriage was to Leroy Hall in 1951 and they were divorced in 1970. Joan and Bud were married shortly after. Besides being a very busy housewife, Joan developed her God given talent in accounting and worked at Fed Mart until they moved to Northern California. Later on she and Bud moved to Washington State where she accepted an accounting position with the Naval Supply Center, Puget Sound. She worked there until Bud retired from the shipyard. Joan always made time for her hobbies which included crocheting, knitting, traveling and family time.
