Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Paul Fields August 22, 1920 - April 5, 2014 Paul H Fields passed away peacefully on April 5, 2014. Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Catherine; loving son, Jim; grandson, Scott; granddaughter, Lisa; great-granddaughter, Danika; sister, Virginia Rose Walton, and many other beloved family members and friends. Paul was born on August 22, 1920, in New Castle, Indiana. He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. Paul was involved in two major events in American history; he was a Pearl Harbor survivor and was a supervisor at Rockwell, working on the Apollo space program to put the first astronauts on the moon. He was also a member of the American Legion, Elks, and Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara, and three siblings. In retirement, he enjoyed dancing, gardening, and traveling. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. at Vistoso Funeral Home in Oro Valley.
