Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Alma Jean "Jeanne" Owens (January 25, 1951 - April 26, 2014) Alma Jean “Jeanne” Owens, peacefully passed away April 26, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family in Show Low, AZ. She was born January 25, 1951, to Alma Edwin and Dorothy Price Bigler in Winslow, AZ. Jeanne was survived by her siblings: Dorothy Mae, Ray, Charles, Janet, Fred, William, Lavar and David. Jeanne was married to the love of her life Daniel Lynn Owens on September 17, 1971 in the Mesa, AZ Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Together they had eight children: Tonia, Keith, Jason, Amber, Tamera, Jodie, Stacie and Michael. They currently have 29 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 2 more on the way. Jeanne’s greatest joy in life was serving her family and others, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She had a special way of making everyone she met feel important and loved. Her life was centered around her testimony and love of the Savior Jesus Christ. Funeral services for Jeanne will be held Saturday, May 3rd at 10 a.m. at the Show Low, AZ, Downtown Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A viewing and visitation with the family will be held that morning from 8:30-9:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at the Show Low Cemetery. Arrangements by Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, AZ.
