Calvin Curtis Daughetee, 89, died April 21, 2014, in Prescott, Ariz.
Calvin was born Jan. 9, 1925, in Boulder, Colo. to Lewis and Bernice (Harris) Daughetee.
He attended Amarillo High School, in Amarillo, Texas, Oklahoma University (BSME), and Southern Methodist University (MSME). He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Lt. Commander, serving in both World War II and the Korean War Conflict. He then became an Aerospace Engineer for LTV Aeronautics.
He enjoyed "Tippin" time with his friends, sailing, traveling in his RV, volunteering and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by four children, David, Tommy, Paul and Carol; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Everett; and sister, Marjorie.
