Thos. Long, proprietor of the Half Way House between Prescott and Whipple died last night at 8 o'clock of asthma after a protracted illness.  

Deceased was 68 years old and had been a resident here for a long time. 

The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the Catholic church.
