John David Neu, Moose Administrator, age 70, a resident of Fort Mohave,
Ariz. passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. He was born on December
26, 1943 and a native of Middletown, Ohio.
John retired from AK Steel Company with over 30 years of service. After
moving to Fort Mohave he joined the Moose Lodge in Bullhead City to
pursue his long time (30 years) of serving the Moose Fraternity. After
serving a term as Governor he became Administrator and served ten years
and worked there until the day he died. John held the highest degree of
honor as a Pilgrim. He had served as District President, Moose Legion
President, President of the Arizona/New Mexico Moose Association and
Deputy Supreme Governor for Moose International.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Teri Simpkins of Monroe, Ohio;
his mother, Mary Reardon and father, John Neu from Middletown, Ohio.
John is survived by his loving wife, Judy; four daughters, Lisa Johnson,
Tami (Tom) Arnold, Nancy (Chris) Shepard all of Middletown, Ohio and
Kathy (Jeff) Davis of Upland, California; son, David Harpe of
Middletown, Ohio; two sisters, Connie and Carol; brother, Mike, all from
Ohio; fifteen grandchildren: and eleven great-grandchildren; and last
but not least, all his Moose family from Bullhead City, Ariz. who he
loved dearly.
His wife extends deep appreciation to Dr. Brian Womack, Dr. Ifran Mirza
and Christine Linert along with the Fresenius Dialysis Center in
Bullhead City for the wonderful care and support they had given him over
the last four years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014
at the Moose Lodge, 2620 Miracle Mile Road, Bullhead City, Ariz.. A
potluck and entertainment will follow.
