Kenneth Raymond Huber, age 99, passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2007 in his home with his loved ones gathered around him. He was born on August 28th, 1907 in Mesa, AZ.
He attended schools in Chandler, then served in the Swiss-German Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Upon his return, he attended school at Arizona State Teachers College. He worked with the William S. Porter Construction Co. as a Project Superintendent until his retirement.
He married his sweetheart, Mickey Hood in 1933, celebrating their 74th wedding anniversary last month.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mickey; daughters, Sylvia Thomas (Dayle) of Pinedale, AZ, Dianne Turner (Ronnie) of Tulsa, Ok, and son, Larry Huber (Joyce) of Mesa, AZ; two brothers, Stanley and Wendel. He also has 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 2, 2007 at 10:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior at the LDS Cornerstone Ward Chapel, 422 E. University in Mesa. Meldrum Mortuary handled the arrangements..
