James "Grandpa Jim" Wroten has left this earth to rest on April 25,
2014. Born January 16, 1935, he was the third of eight children.
As a young man, he was an exceptional trick-horse rider, and also a
dairy farmer. But nothing could compare to his love of writing. He was a
writer for the magazine Desert Cowboy, in Arizona. His charm brought
happiness to everyone he came across, and he always made a point to make
sure that everyone around him was smiling and having a good time.
"Heaven's light now shines a little brighter with the arrival of such a
wonderful man".
James was preceded in death by both parents; his first wife, Sara;
siblings, Mey, Gai, Frank and Ben; and daughter, Meloni.
He is survived by his wife, Yetiva Wroten, and an almost overwhelming
amount of children, grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Along
with siblings June, Tom and Bob.
Services for James will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014 at
the City Bible Church, 922 Marina Blvd, Bullhead City, Ariz.
