BENNETT, Jacob Lee

Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on May 6, 2014 - Jacob Lee Bennett, 33, of Kingman passed away April 29, 2014. Jacob was born in Lake Havasu City and was a lifelong resident of Kingman. He worked at True Value as a truck driver for many years. Jacob had a deep passion for music and was a great musician. He played in several bands throughout the years, including Spungworthy, Justified and SupurZero. He was always happy when he was playing music and with a guitar in his hands. Most of all, he loved making music in his garage with his children and nephew Landon. Jacob was a very giving person. He helped organize the Halloween Hunger Bash, which raised money and food for the Kingman Area Food Bank for the past three years. He recently participated in raising money for disabled children so they could have a swing that is wheelchair-accessible. Jacob was a great dad and husband. He enjoyed taking his family outdoors - hiking up in the Hualapais, going 4x4ing in his Bronco, going out in the desert for walks or just to climb on big rocks, camping and going to the lake. Jacob was a kind and patient man with his kids, family and friends. If Jake could fix the world, he would have. Jacob is survived by his wife, Sheryl; three children, Adam (15), Caleb (10) and daughter Emilyn (3); mother, Debra Pinley; father, Robert Davis; grandma, Majorie Fletcher; grandpa, Bill Davis; siblings, Nick, Nova (Mike), Brandon (Delta), Brian (Sarah), Tyler (Monica), Jeff, Nyssa (Tim) and Bradlee; nephews, Landon (Sami), David, Andrew, Eric, Aiden, Mason and Jackson; nieces, Rhiannon (Nathan), Hailey, Hayle, Sydney, Kandice, Alyssa, Brooklyn and Payton; and many more loving family and friends. Jacob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a great son, husband, father, uncle, brother and friend. Jacob's best friend, Bob Peet, will be leading the services, which will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave.
