Parker Pioneer, Parker, AZ - Published on May 7, 2014 >>> Genevieve (Jennie) Hill <<< >>> April 29, 1932 - March 4, 2014 <<< Long time Parker resident Genevieve (Jennie) Hill passed away March 4, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nev. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Richard Hill, sister Lorraine Anderson, sister-in-law Joyce Bradshaw, daughter Sheryl (Craig) Railsback, son Jerry Woodard (George), stepson Gary (Kathy) Hill; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Jennie moved to Parker in 1964 where her and her husband built and ran Lake Manor Market in 1969. Jennie was very active in the community and will be remembered as being an amazing owner and broker of Security Real Estate. Jennie was a member of the in the BPOE Does for 46 years and in 1987 she served as president and was Matron of the Eastern Star. She loved hosting events for the Elks and Does; she loved traveling and camping, but most of all spending time on their beach front property in Hawaii, which she enjoyed with her family and friends. Memorial services were held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder, Nev., March 12.
