Earl "Duane" Ullmann, 74, was born into a farming family on Oct. 20, 1939, to Henry Ullmann and Maxine Freauff Ullmann. Duane passed away May 3, 2014, with his family by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy; mother-in-law Joan Fakinos and her husband Frank of Paulden, Ariz.; his children, Desiree Cooper and her husband Bryan Ledford of Ft. Morgan, Colo., Beverly Sexton and her husband Robert of Cave Creek, Ariz., and Gregory Steinmetz and his wife Cherie of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, as well as his brother-in-law Harvey Zeller of Eaton, Colo.
Duane was an auctioneer for more than 50 years.
He started off in Colorado selling cattle, later moving to Arizona where he worked for the Prescott Livestock Auction for five years, and finally Harris Auctions, where he worked for the past 16 years.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014, with services at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014, both at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave., Prescott, Ariz.
Burial will follow at the Chino Valley Cemetery, Chino Valley, Ariz.
